Essential 2 has a modern design and boasts many useful features; particularly silent , it is a very versatile air conditioner: the indoor units of the Series are used together with the outdoor inverter units to create different combinations of single-split and multi-split air conditioners.

DESIGN

Its name also speaks of this: the indoor unit of the Clivet Essential 2 air conditioner has a clean, no-frills design; the straight and clean cuts of the lines in the front view are harmoniously connected with the rounded edges and the rounded side edges; the essentiality of its lines makes it modern and elegant and allows it to be easily inserted into any environment and architecture. The details with the satin-chrome insert and the ice-white display on the right that appear automatically when turned on contribute to enrich it. Essential 2 will be able to embellish a home, business, office or hotel environment with its presence.

BREATHE CLEAN AIR

With its particularly efficient filters, the Clivet Essential 2 air conditioner purifies the air introduced into the environment: The high-density filter captures even the finest dust while the cold catalyst filter retains the volatile organic compounds present in the air and bad odors.

The indoor unit is also equipped with the Auto-Cleaning function which keeps the internal fan on even after the split is turned off until the heat exchange coil has dried. This prevents dust from settling on the exchanger for a longer period, consequently also lengthening the intervals between two maintenance operations.

PERFECT CLIMATE AND RELAX

The Clivet Essential 2 air conditioner is equipped with many useful functions that facilitate its use and contribute to increasing the well-being produced. The Follow Me function allows you to reach the desired temperature more quickly by detecting the temperature in the room near the remote control; with the Multidirectional Flow it is possible to adjust the positions of the blades both horizontally and vertically; the movement can be automated using the Auto Swing function but can also be memorized in order to recall the positions each time it is switched on. With the incredible number of 12 ventilation speeds , the regulation of the air flow in the room can be customized in order to always offer the greatest comfort; in heating, the Anti-Cold function delays the start of the fan until the internal coil is not hot enough and the Temperature Compensation always helps to detect the real ambient temperature even if the sensor that detects it is at a different height compared to that of the guests of the environment. The Clivet Essential 2 air conditioner is equipped with the Turbo function for very fast air conditioning of the environment, the Super Silence function for further reduction of operating noise, the Do Not Disturb function, which deactivates the sound signals and the display of the indoor unit and activates the super minimum speed; the Sleep function for night operation reduces noise and sets the balance of the automatic night temperature curves. To increase ease of use, if the remote control does not work, the air conditioner can also be turned on and off using a button on the indoor unit; in the event of a blackout, the Auto Restart system restores all the settings in use at the time of the power failure; the Timer allows the programming of automatic switching on and off.

In the Stand-By phase, the power consumption of the Essential 2 air conditioner is only 1 W. There are also a series of particularly technical functions such as the Refrigerant Loss Alarm and the Self -diagnosis which communicates any malfunctions.

For easier installation, the indoor unit is equipped with a condensate drain pan with bi-directional connection.

THE OUTDOOR UNIT

The MU2-Y outdoor units for Clivet multisplit air conditioners in the residential range have Inverter and Heat Pump technology and represent the beating heart of the air conditioner. The entire range has been renewed compared to the previous MU1-Y and now boasts better performance, greater simplicity and flexibility in installation, a wide operating range in both cooling and heating. The MU2-Y outdoor units work with the innovative R32 gas, a friend of nature and of the consumer because it has a low environmental impact and is more performing and economical than its predecessors.

The multisplit outdoor units offer the great advantage of air conditioning multiple rooms using a single outdoor unit and one indoor unit for each room ; they are particularly recommended where there is little space for the installation of several outdoor units or when you want to reduce the visual impact of this component of the air conditioner on the facade of the building to be air-conditioned.

The outdoor unit presented here has a nominal power of 5.3 kW (in cooling mode) and allows one or two Clivet indoor units of any series to be connected and powered, even with different powers; the indoor units will always operate independently and each will be equipped with its own command.

The fan of this outdoor unit regulates its operation between seven speed levels to help save energy; the unit is equipped with the Emergency function that allows operation even in emergency mode from malfunction; the Auto Defrost device prevents the formation of ice on the evaporator. Thanks to the particular measures adopted, the outdoor unit of the Clivet multi split air conditioner guarantees the correct operation of the air conditioner even with very low external temperatures.

R32 gas, with a potential on global warming, GWP, equal to one third compared to that of R410A gas , not only contributes considerably to respect for nature, but also allows combinations of multi-split air conditioners to always obtain excellent energy classes.

For added safety and speed of installation, these outdoor units are equipped with an automatic correction function for wiring and piping errors.

The shell of the MU2-Y outdoor units is equipped with a particular anti- corrosion coating that protects them from bad weather, atmospheric agents and salt. The outdoor unit can be fixed either in a suspended position or placed on the floor thanks to the supports that can be purchased separately.
