The air conditioner kit is equipped with the following indoor units:

• 2 x 9000 BTU- Ideals for rooms from 15 to 25 sqm with an average height of 2.7 m
• 1 x 12000 BTU- Ideal for rooms from 25 to 40 sqm with an average height of 2.7 m

The internal unit of the Clivet ductable air conditioner DUCT 2 is mounted in a hidden position, generally in a false ceiling and the air is diffused into the room through a special ventilation opening. The advantages of ductable air conditioners consist in particular of the possibility of air conditioning the rooms without the internal unit being visible, to the full advantage of aesthetics and the possibility of using the walls for our furnishings. It follows that, with the installation of a built-in air conditioner, there is well-being but there is not … the air conditioner. This indoor unit is used together with inverter outdoor units to create combinations of multi-split and light commercial air conditioners.

DESIGN

The Clivet ductable DUCT 2 Inverter built-in air conditioner allows you to use the maximum imagination to the architecture of the environments where it is installed. Its „invisible“ presence makes it possible to air-condition the rooms easily thanks also to the small size of the internal units which have a particularly slim and compact structure and which integrate perfectly into the most unlikely places in the room. Suitable for installation anywhere: in homes, commercial activities, offices and hotel environments.

BREATHE CLEAN AIR

With the air intake, the internal unit is able to draw clean air from the outside which, passing by the machine, allows the renewal of the latter in the environment.

PERFECT CLIMATE AND RELAX

The ductable Clivet DUCT 2 air conditioner, quickly reaches and always maintains the set temperature constant, without sudden changes; it offers optimal comfort as it distributes the air extremely silently and in a truly imperceptible way thanks also to the hidden position of the built-in split. With the automatic regulation of the constant air flow , the fan adapts the power of the air flow in order to adequately air-condition each room both in the presence of short and long pipes. It has many additional functions and features. With the incredible number of 12 ventilation speeds, the regulation of the air flow in the room can be personalized in order to always offer the greatest comfort; in heating, the Anti Cold Air function delays the start of the fan until the internal coil is not hot enough and the Temperature Compensation helps to always detect the real room temperature even if the sensor that detects it is at a different height than that of the guests of the environment. Furthermore, with the Follow Me function, the temperature can be detected by a sensor placed in the remote control which allows us to adjust the general functions of our air conditioner. The Sleep function for night-time operation reduces noise and sets the balance of the automatic night-time temperature curves. In the event of a blackout, the Auto Restart system resets all the settings in use at the time of the power cut; the Timer allows the programming of automatic switching on and off. There are also a series of particularly technical functions such as the Refrigerant Loss Alarm, Self-diagnosis and also the Remote Alarm Port function which communicates any malfunctions. Last but not least, the SPLIT VRF function, which allows the cycle inversion, in which all indoor units work in heating or cooling mode depending on the season, guaranteeing the possibility of acting on the internal temperature control for each individual room and on the fan speed. This indoor unit is already equipped with the condensate drain pump integrated in the chassis. There is also a contact for switching on/off from an external device.

THE OUTDOOR UNIT

The MU2-Y outdoor units for multi-split Clivet air conditioners in the residential range have Inverter and Heat Pump technology and represent the beating heart of the air conditioner. The entire range has been renewed compared to the previous MU1-Y and now boasts better performance, greater simplicity and flexibility in installation, a wide operating range in both cooling and heating. The MU2-Y outdoor units work with the innovative R32 gas, a friend of nature and the consumer because it has a low environmental impact and is more performing and economical than its predecessors.

The multisplit outdoor units offer the great advantage of air conditioning several rooms using only one outdoor unit and one indoor unit for each room ; they are particularly recommended where there is little space for the installation of several outdoor units or when you want to reduce the visual impact of this component of the air conditioner on the facade of the building to be air-conditioned.

The outdoor unit presented here has a nominal power of 7.9 kW (in cooling) and allows you to connect and power up to three Clivet indoor units of any series, even with different powers; the indoor units will always operate independently and each will have its own control.

The latest generation inverter system allows for low energy consumption and always high energy savings. The high efficiency compressor has a particularly robust and reliable structure which contributes to maintaining a constant temperature without sudden changes; it is also very quiet, to respect one’s sleep and that of others. The fan of this outdoor unit regulates its operation between seven speed levels to help save energy; the unit is equipped with the Emergency function which also allows operation in emergency mode due to malfunction; the Auto Defrost device prevents the formation of ice on the evaporator. Thanks to the particular devices adopted, the external unit of the Clivet multi split air conditioner guarantees the correct functioning of the air conditioner even with very cold external temperatures.

R32 gas, with a global warming potential, GWP, equal to one third of that of R410A gas , not only contributes significantly to respect for nature, but also allows combinations of multi-split air conditioners to always obtain excellent energy classes .

For added safety and quick installation, these outdoor units are equipped with an automatic correction function for piping and wiring errors.

The body of the MU2-Y outdoor units is equipped with a particular anti-corrosion coating which protects them from bad weather, atmospheric agents and salt air. The outdoor unit can be fixed both in a suspended position and placed on the floor thanks to the supports that can be purchased separately.
